Tooth colored fillings
Modern fillings can be made of many materials such as resin or porcelain which are also tooth-colored and can blend seamlessly in appearance. They are a perfectly suitable replacement for silver fillings that may be damaging the tooth as they age. Old silver fillings keep expanding as they age, and can eventually create cracks on the tooth. They also lose their seal with the tooth which becomes a dangerous hazard since bacteria can seep under the filling and eventually create a recurrent cavity.
