How dangerous is Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA)? OSA has been
linked to high blood pressure, heart disease, and diabetes among other health
risks. OSA is the term for when your airway cannot remain open continuously
during sleep. When your body cannot breathe in oxygen, it jolts your body awake
but does not fully awaken you. This can occur many times throughout the night
and puts extreme stress on your body to maintain a constant oxygen level. This
stress includes the high blood pressure, heart disease, and diabetes as
examples. If you have mild to moderate OSA, an oral appliance may be the best
decision for you to take control of this harmful condition. Dr. Keri Do has
treated many patients who suffer from this condition and can decide which treatment
will work best for you.

Discolored teeth
A discolored tooth is the primary indicator that the nerve
in a tooth has died. The more time that has passed, the more darker the tooth
will become. Teeth whitening is an option to whiten a tooth and allow it to
blend in with the adjacent teeth again. However, the color always relapses and
must be done again every few months. Veneers or crowns are a more permanent
solution for these teeth as the color will remain stable over time.
