Adult Orthodontics

Inadequate orthodontics(braces) early in life can lead to a relapse of crowding or unfortunate outcomes in adulthood such as temporomandibular joint symptoms or sleep apnea. In many cases, teeth were extracted to create space around the remaining teeth to alleviate the crowding at the time. However the negative long term effect is that it restricts the natural growth of the upper and lower jaws especially at a critical time of development for a child. In adulthood, we can reverse this condition and even replace the missing teeth with the most popular choice of dental implants. Not only will the cosmetic appearance of straight teeth be solved, but it will be accompanied with a healthy TMJ joint as well.
